Innovobot celebrates recent acquisitions during special 6@8 evening.
On February 18, 2026, Innovobot welcomed members of its ecosystem, partners, and friends to its Montreal offices for a special 6@8 evening celebrating two exciting acquisitions and a new chapter of growth for the Innovobot platform. The gathering brought together entrepreneurs, engineers, investors, and collaborators for an evening dedicated to innovation, connection, and shared momentum.a
The event marked the celebration of Innovobot’s acquisitions of Voler Systems and Inflight Canada (IFC), two companies whose expertise and technologies strengthen Innovobot’s mission to build and scale impactful deep-tech ventures.
One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of the acquisition of Voler Systems, a Silicon Valley–based engineering firm specializing in embedded systems, IoT, and connected products designed for complex and regulated environments. With decades of experience developing advanced technologies across industries such as MedTech, advanced manufacturing, and consumer electronics, Voler Systems brings valuable expertise to the Innovobot ecosystem. This acquisition also marks the launch of Innovobot Labs’ U.S. division, expanding Innovobot’s presence and capabilities internationally.
Innovobot also celebrated the acquisition of Inflight Canada (IFC), a Quebec-based company known for its innovation in aircraft cabin systems and passenger experience technologies used by airlines and OEMs around the world. The announcement coincided with IFC’s 50th anniversary, making the moment especially meaningful as the company enters its next phase of growth, innovation, and global expansion.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to meet the teams behind these companies, learn more about the industries they serve, and discover the technologies shaping the future of connected systems, aviation, and advanced engineering.
The celebration also included exciting news from members of Innovobot’s portfolio. CarbiCrete, an IRV investment, continues to advance its carbon removal technology that enables the production of cement-free, carbon-negative concrete, offering a transformative solution for the construction industry. Meanwhile, Independent Robotics, an Innovobot investment, is developing autonomous surface and underwater vehicles capable of executing complex tasks in harsh environments using AI and advanced visual processing.
The evening reflected the strength of the Innovobot ecosystem and the collaborative spirit that drives it forward. Bringing together partners, innovators, and builders under one roof, the event served as both a celebration of recent milestones and a glimpse into the exciting opportunities ahead.
