Montréal, November 19, 2025 –The Eurêka Fund, managed by Investissement Québec has granted a $3 million investment mandate to Innovobot Resonance Ventures (IRV), the venture capital arm of Innovobot, a company recognized for its unique model that bridges innovation, commercialization, and investment.
Innovobot, through Innovobot Labs, its innovation studio, combines deep technical expertise across advanced technologies (including robotics, human-machine interfaces, AI, IoT, photonics, and advanced materials) with collaboration with blue-chip OEMs, global industry leaders, mid-size companies, and startups. This allows Innovobot to validate and scale complex technologies while offering startups privileged pathways to global markets and commercialization at scale.
It is on the strength of this integrated model that Fonds Eurêka has chosen to partner with Innovobot Resonance Ventures, which will invest in emerging deep tech startups developing and commercializing intellectual property originating from Quebec’s public research institutions.
This allocation is part of the broader mission of Eurêka, a fund capitalized by the Government of Quebec, to accelerate the transition of academic research into market-ready technologies by investing at the pre-seed stage. Through this partnership, IRV will act as external fund manager, deploying the $3 million envelope to co-invest alongside Eurêka in startups that align with its investment strategy.
“The Fonds Eurêka was created to turn Quebec’s world-class research into world-class companies,” said Benoit M. Leroux, Chair of the Board of the Eurêka Fund. “By partnering with organizations like Innovobot, which combines venture capital, engineering depth, and access to major industry partners, we are ensuring that innovations emerging from our public research institutions have a pathway to global markets.”
“This mandate is a strong vote of confidence in our model,” said Neha Khera, Managing Partner of Innovobot Resonance Ventures. “Innovobot Labs’ deep tech expertise and work with companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s, helps our portfolio companies validate technologies and accelerate their path to market. This collaboration with Investissement Québec strengthens our ability to support Quebec’s innovation ecosystem and grow high-potential deep tech startups emerging from the province, scaling them into globally competitive companies that deliver both impact and returns.”
IRV is uniquely positioned to deliver on the Eurêka fund’s mission. Three companies currently in its portfolio are commercializing intellectual property from Quebec-based universities: CarbiCrete (McGill University), Oneka Technologies and Ecofilter Tek (Université de Sherbrooke), demonstrating IRV’s commitment to supporting the development and commercialization of technologies emerging from Quebec’s research community.
Although the Eurêka mandate focuses exclusively on Québec-based companies, the fund can also invest in deep-tech companies across Canada developing solutions using advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, IoT, Human-Machine Interfaces, Advanced Materials, Photonics, areas where Canada holds globally recognized expertise.
“Our deep tech ecosystem is one of Canada’s greatest assets,” added Danny Grant, CTO of Innovobot. “From pioneering advances in AI to world-class research in advanced materials, robotics and photonics, our scientific leadership is globally recognized. This partnership with Investissement Québec reinforces our mission to turn that leadership in research and innovation into lasting economic value, scaling high-potential ventures into market leaders.”
With this mandate, Innovobot Resonance Ventures gains an additional $3 million to deploy into promising pre-seed companies, further strengthening Innovobot’s capacity to back bold entrepreneurs, accelerate the growth of our innovation economy and generate strong returns for its fund.
