Even in the heart of summer, Montréal’s AI community showed up, over 190 of you joined us for our most recent AI Salon, proving once again that innovation doesn’t take a vacation.
This edition focused on a topic at the heart of our ecosystem: “From Idea to Product: Commercializing AI.”

AI-driven analytics to optimize mobile mining equipment; improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and driving sustainability in the heavy industry sector.
🔹 Scopia Surgical (Gabriel Rivest, Co-founder & CEO)
A Montréal-based medtech startup building real-time surgical navigation using AI and computer vision. Their tech enhances surgeon precision during robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
🔹 Sonaro (Karina Gasbarrino, Co-founder & CEO)
A healthtech solution revolutionizing vascular diagnostics. Sonaro’s Vaso3D software converts 2D ultrasound into accurate 3D vascular models in under 10 minutes, enabling earlier stroke risk detection without the need for expert interpretation.
